As part of a national upgrade programme, Prestige Optical was selected to retrofit existing Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) buildings with full-fibre broadband infrastructure. These projects focus on installing network services both externally and internally, depending on the structure, layout, and suitability of each site.

- Detailed Survey-to-Install Model: Assessing the optimal external or internal installation method for each building.

- Stage One – Pre-Contract Works: External/common area fibre routing to termination points outside individual apartments for network readiness.
- Stage Two – Customer Activation: Discreet internal fibre installation upon resident sign-up, minimising disruption.
- Proactive Stakeholder Collaboration: Close liaison with housing associations, managing agents, and freeholders to address access, safety, and aesthetic concerns.
- Survey-Led Penetration Strategy: Choosing the most effective building penetration method to maximise coverage and performance while respecting building integrity.
